Statistically had one of the best offensive season for a freshman in school history... Her 14 home runs is fourth most in UH single season history... Started 57 games as a freshman... Of the 57 starts, 47 were at first base and four at third base... Leads all Conference USA freshmen in home runs, runs batted in, total bases and walks...C-USA Top 10 in seven offensive categories...Holds a .329 batting average, .651 slugging percentage, .477 on-base percentage, 47 runs scored, 14 home runs, 99 total bases and 39 walks... Two-time C-USA Hitter of the Week... Belted her first collegiate home run versus McNeese State (Feb. 9), a 2-run blast to deep center... Roped a three-run blast and scored a run at UAB (Apr. 27)... hit a grand slam against Memphis in the opening round of the C-USA Championship (May 8)... had 17 putouts in the tournament and two assists (May 8-10).
High School:
Established herself as a Sierra League Top-Five Athlete under Leah O'brien and Dave Litle at Chino Hills High School ... won two, back-to-back championship titles in the Sierra League ... selected to the All-League First Team in 2007 and 2004-05 and Second Team All-League in 2006 ... also played volleyball and basketball, and earned Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year Awards ...was a four-time Academic All-League recipient and a three-year 4.0 grade point average athlete ... received the President's Award for Scholar Athlete in 2007.
